Common Thyme is a perennial shrub about 25 cm tall with pinkish-purple flowers from the Cluster family.

Thyme essential oil is obtained from the ground part of a perennial plant.

Essential oil properties: Wood-herbal spicy aroma of thyme gives courage, inspires active activity, stimulates intelligence, increases concentration of attention. Disinfects indoor air. Neutralizes insect poisons. Strengthens and restores hair after dyeing and "chemical" perm. Strengthens the nails. Do not apply on hypersensitive skin.

Composition:
Thyme ordinary essential oil 100%, obtained by steam distillation.

Application methods:
Inhalation. Hot inhalations: Add 1-2 drops of essential oil to a container with hot water, cover your head with a towel, close your eyes and lean over this solution. Deeply inhale the vapors for 5-7 minutes.
Cold inhalations: Place 1-2 drops of essential oil in an aromamedallion or a napkin and inhale for 5-10 minutes.
Aromatization of air. Aroma lamp is filled with hot water, a drop of 5-7 drops of essential oil per 20m2 area. In the lower part of the aroma lamp placed a lit candle (tea). Do not allow boiling water, from time to time you need to add water. The duration of the procedure is 15-30 minutes.

General recommendations for the use of essential oils:

1 drop of essential oil from 1/3 tablespoon of vegetable oil and apply on the surface of the forearm or behind the ear. Apply 2-3 drops of essential oil to a handkerchief and breathe in periodically during the day. The use of the test oil is possible if after 12 hours there is no allergic reaction on the skin, headache, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, swelling of the face.

Contraindication: individual intolerance, pregnancy, children under 6 years old, bronchial asthma, epilepsy. Do not apply inside!
