Composition

ZI-Factor - capsules:

1 caps contains Azithromycin dihydrate (in terms of azithromycin) 250 mg; pack of 6 or 10 pcs.;

in pack of 3 pieces

Mechanism of action

ZI-Factor is a broad-spectrum antibiotic of the azalide group. When creating in the focus of inflammation of high concentrations has a bactericidal effect.

Indications and usage

Infections of the upper (pharyngitis, tonsillitis) and lower (bacterial and atypical pneumonia, bronchitis) respiratory tract, ENT organs (otitis media, sinusitis), skin and soft tissues (erysipelas, impetigo, secondary infected dermatoses), urogenital tract (uncomplicated urethritis and / or cervicitis), Lyme disease (treatment of erythema migrans), gastric and duodenal diseases associated with Helicobacter pylori (as part of combination therapy).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to other macrolides), hepatic and / or renal failure, breastfeeding, infancy up to 1 year.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Perhaps if the expected effect of therapy outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Adverse reactions

From the nervous system and sensory organs: ≤1% - dizziness, headache, drowsiness; in children - hyperkinesia, anxiety, neurosis, sleep disturbance.

Dosage and administration

ZI-Factor is taken orally for 1 hour or 2 hours after eating 1 time / day.

For adults, the average dose is 500 mg / day. for 1 reception within 3 days (course dose - 1.5 g).

Children are prescribed at the rate of 10 mg / kg 1 time / day. within 3 days or on the first day - 10 mg / kg, then 4 days - at 5-10 mg / kg / day. within 3 days (course dose - 30 mg / kg).

Special notes

It is necessary to observe a break of 2 hours with simultaneous use of antacids.

After discontinuation of treatment, hypersensitivity reactions may persist in some patients, which requires specific therapy under medical supervision.

Storage conditions

The drug should be stored in a dry, dark place at temperatures not above 20 ° C. Shelf life - 2 years.
