Vesticap dosing regimen

Inside, during a meal, 1 capsule (24 mg) 2 times / day.

The treatment is long. The duration of taking the drug Vesticap is selected individually.

Dose adjustment in the elderly is not required.

Side Effects of Vesticap

Gastrointestinal: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating.

From the skin: angioedema, urticaria, pruritus, rash.

Allergic reactions: hypersensitivity, incl. Anaphylactic reactions.

Nervous system: headache.

Contraindications to the use of Vesticap

- Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug;

- pregnancy;

- lactation period;

- pheochromocytoma;

- children's age up to 18 years;

- lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency and glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.

WITH caution: peptic ulcer or duodenal ulcer (including a history), bronchial asthma.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Use in children

Contraindications: children up to 18 years.

Use in elderly patients

Dose adjustment for the elderly is not required.

Specific instructions

The therapeutic effect in some cases increases within several months from the start of treatment.

Influence on ability to drive motor transport and control mechanisms

The effect is missing or insignificant.

Overdosage

Symptoms: nausea, abdominal pain, drowsiness (when taken in a dose of up to 640 mg); convulsions, cardiovascular complications (when taken in a dose of more than 640 mg or in combination with other drugs).

Treatment: symptomatic.

Drug Interactions Vesticap

Interaction of betahistine with histamine H blockers₁-receptors with simultaneous use can theoretically affect the effectiveness of one of these tools.

Terms and conditions of storage

The drug Vesticap should be stored in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
