Active ingredient and dosage form

Capsules: 1 capsule contains 25 mg of Lebenin powder: at least 1.2 x 10⁷ live freeze-dried bacteria Bifidobacterium infantis v. liberorum, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Streptococcus faecium(resistant to antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents);
16, 32 or 48 pcs. packaged.

Mechanism of action

Linex is a combined preparation containing components of the natural microflora from different parts of the intestine.
Linex bifidobacteria, lactobacilli and non-toxigenic lactic acid enterococcus maintain and regulate the physiological balance of the intestinal microflora and provide its physiological functions: they create unfavorable conditions for the reproduction and vital activity of pathogenic microorganisms; involved in the synthesis of Vitamins B₁, AT₂, PP, folic acid, vitamins K and E, Ascorbic acid, provide the body's need for vitamins B₆, AT₁₂ and biotin; producing lactic acid and lowering the pH of the intestinal contents, create favorable conditions for the absorption of iron, Calcium, vitamin D. Lactic acid bacteria carry out the enzymatic breakdown of proteins, fats and complex carbohydrates (including in lactase deficiency in children) that are not absorbed in the small intestine carbohydrates and proteins are deeper in the colon in anaerobes (including bifidobacteria).The bacteria that make up the drug, facilitate the digestion of proteins in infants (phosphoprotein-phosphotase of bifidobacteria is involved in the metabolism of milk casein); involved in the metabolism of bile acids.
Linex contains lactic acid bacteria resistant to antibiotics.

Indications and usage

 
Dysbacteriosis in children (including infants) and adults (including as a result of treatment with antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents).

Dosage and administration

 
Infants and children under 2 years old appoint 1 capsule 3 times / day after a meal, washed down with a small amount of liquid.
Children 2-12 years old - 1-2 capsules 3 times / day after a meal, washed down with a small amount of liquid.
If the child cannot swallow the whole capsule, it is necessary to open and mix the contents with a small amount of liquid (tea, juice, water).
Adults and children over 12 years old appoint 2 capsules 3 times / day after meals, washed down with a small amount of liquid.
The duration of treatment depends on the cause of the development of dysbacteriosis.

Contraindications

 
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug or dairy products.

Special notes

To preserve the viability of the components of the drug is not recommended to drink Linex hot drinks.
During the period of use of Linex should refrain from alcohol.
It should be borne in mind that the clinical manifestations of allergy to lactic acid bacteria are similar to the manifestations of allergy to dairy products. Therefore, when the onset of allergy symptoms, taking the drug should be stopped to find out the true cause of the allergy.

Storage conditions

The preparation should be stored in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
