Active ingredient and dosage form

Each pill contains: Paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine 30 mg, chlorphenamine maleate 2 mg;
12 pills per pack.

Mechanism of action

Flucoldex N - a combined agent, the action of which is due to its constituent components; has antipyretic, analgesic, vasoconstrictor effect, eliminates the symptoms of "cold".

Caffeine has a moderate psychostimulant effect, temporarily alleviates fatigue symptoms and drowsiness.. Caffeine increases basal metabolism, has a moderate myotropic antispasmodic effect (dilates the bronchi, biliary ducts), stimulates the secretion of the gastric glands, slightly increases diuresis.
Paracetamol possesses analgesic and antipyretic effects.
Chlorphenamine - H1-histamine receptor blocker. In addition to antiallergic action, it has some local anesthetic, antispasmodic, anticholinergic, sedative and hypnotic action.

Indications and usage

Symptomatic treatment of colds, acute respiratory viral infections, influenza (feverish syndrome, pain syndrome, rhinorrhea).

Dosage and administration

Apply Flucoldex N 1 pill 2-3 times a day with an interval of at least 4 hours. The maximum single dose for adults and children over 12 years is 2 tablets, daily - 8 tablets.
Duration of reception no more than 5 days.An increase in the duration of treatment is possible only under medical supervision.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema). Dizziness, nausea, agitation, sleep disturbance, tachycardia, arrhythmia, epigastric pain, mydriasis, accommodation paresis, increased intraocular pressure, dryness of the mucous membrane of the mouth, nose, throat are possible; urine retention.

With prolonged use in large doses - hepatotoxic action, hemolytic or aplastic anemia, methemoglobinemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, pancytopenia; nephrotoxicity (renal colic, glycosuria, interstitial nephritis, papillary necrosis).
